Individual sessions are 50-minutes. Couples oftentimes benefit from a few 75-minute sessions that can be scheduled on an as-needed basis.
Brittany does not believe therapy needs to be a long-term endeavor. Depending on the nature of the client’s presenting problems, therapy can last from several weeks to several months. Brittany’s policy is to allow her clients to choose how often they want to be seen and for how long they want to be seen, while also providing her professional recommendation for what may be best.
However, therapy is best launched through at least 4-6 weeks of weekly sessions. After that, clients may move into bi-weekly appointments or even just monthly or as-needed “tune-ups”.
All psychotherapy and counseling sessions are currently via video and/or phone. Typically, once a therapeutic relationship has been established, remote sessions (telephone or video) are available.
The per-session fee is $200 per 50-minute session for individuals and $225 for couples.
Insurance is not accepted, although coded “superbills” are offered so that clients can submit for reimbursement to their PPO and/or Health Savings Account.
If your place of employment offers Lyra mental health benefits, please note that Brittany is Lyra provider.
A limited number of sliding scale slots are available on an as-needed basis.
All forms of payment are accepted including credit cards & Venmo.
