Length & Frequency of Sessions
Individuals usually come to therapy once/week for a 50-minute session. If schedules permit, Couples start with therapy once/week for 75-minute sessions, particularly for the first few appointments.
If the client is in crisis mode and/or in need of additional help, it is possible to be seen multiple times each week for a limited period of time.
Depending on the nature of the client’s presenting problems, therapy can last from several weeks to several months. Brittany's policy is to allow her clients to choose how often they want to be seen and for how long they want to be seen, while also providing her professional recommendation for what may be best. Typically after 6-10 sessions, clients may move into bi-weekly appointments or even just monthly or quarterly “tune-ups".
Once a therapeutic relationship has been established, remote sessions (telephone or Skype) are available.
Structure of a Session
Each session is the client’s to use as he/she sees fit although Brittany strives to ensure that the client is working towards his or her stated therapeutic goals. Brittany also oftentimes suggests work that can be done outside of the sessions to make the time between sessions feel more constructive and cohesive.

The per-session fee is $185 per 50-minute session.
Brittany does not accept any insurance, although she does provide monthly invoices that clients can submit to health care providers or a flexible spending account for reimbursement.
